1.     You’ve started ranking your politicians on how much they respect the rule of law

2.     You’ve stopped paying attention to those news publications

3.     You’ve developed a sudden interest in a particular period of history

4.     More and more people are sounding like your racist, conspiracist uncle.

5.     Someone just pulled a Nazi salute on TV.

6.     Those in power are only there because someone more powerful than them put them there.
